BSN Programs in Illinois
The BSN has become the most popular degree sought by those seeking to become a registered nurse in Illinois, which is in line with National trends. The AACN released a statement regarding what they feel should be the minimum education required for professional nursing, that being the BSN degree. Most magnet hospitals and home health agencies are have moved toward hiring or preferring to hire the baccalaureate educated nurse.
